As Senior Vice President of Underwriting, Terry O’Dekirk works with Crum and Forster to develop underwriting guidelines and is the liaison on claims reporting and management. Terry practiced law for nine years as a civil trial attorney prior to joining Crum and Forster Managers/Coregis/Westport in 1986. As Vice-President of Claims, he established the Claims Legal Department and Litigation Management Program and later assumed additional responsibility for Directors and Officers claims. He managed Lawyers Professional Liability at Coregis and was business leader for Non-Medical Professional Liability at Westport. Afterward, he was Senior Vice-President of Underwriting for Medical and Non-Medical Professional Liability at Interstate National Corporation. Terry worked with various start-up companies and boards of directors before joining Protexure in 2010.
